Women into Jewellery (2006 – 2009)

The aim of this project:   Women into Jewellery programme is aimed at giving women the individual support they need to improve their basic skills and get into employment in the jewellery sector. Her Business and Holts Academy have teamed up to provide four programmes:

Start to Sparkle

Pre apprentice Programme for women interested in the jewellery sector, learning the skills necessary to take it   to a career or business in jewellery.

Sparkle into Business

Programme for women interested in starting their own business in the jewellery sector

The project aims to work with a total of 450 women.   The project provides free training and support in improving basic skills and getting into work in the jewellery sector.
