SOCIAL NETWORKING
Six years on after setting up my own business
and string of Limited Companies, I began to wonder and think of
ways to improve my business presence.
I came across the term Innovation.
Innovation…, thoughts began to run across my mind.
Innovation, what does that really mean to me.
How can I embrace something new, how can I add
an energy boost to my business.
That’s it, marketing, “how can I use
innovation in my marketing”?
I have attended numerous workshops, read
newsletters and even read numerous blogs about social
networking. I have even dabbled with Twitter, Facebook and
Linkedin.
There is a wealth of information about social
networking, what I really wanted was someone to coach me and hold
my hand as I entered into an unknown territory of social
networking.
Back to the word
‘Innovation’, what is Innovation, in a nutshell
for me Innovation is ‘doing some different’ or according to
‘Wikipedia’ new stuff that is made useful’
Social networking or media is something that
is here NOW. It is a new tool which
if used correctly can make a profound and positive impact on your
business and how you interact with customers, clients and
supporters both past, present and future.
For those who may see social networking as
selling and feel they are unable to promote themselves or their
business. It is simply another form of networking or striking
up a conversation about your business.
Similar to dating, social media has
transformed the way business is conducted. There are still
those who prefer to put their head in the sand and ignore or avoid
it.
Take a step of faith, test the waters
‘try’ it out for yourself. Innovate Her have a community of
women, just like you who can help you in your journey.
It worked for me, I now regularly update my
presence on Social networks, it is have a very positive effect on
my bank balance and how I feel about my businesses, I feel in
control and find social media a refreshing alternative to
traditional marketing.
Innovate Her will be running a range of
sessions to provide us with the tools and knowledge.
